  • 3 oz Legs Diamond Aged Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Taconic Bourbon Maple Syrup
  • 4-5 dashed Peychauds bitters
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Absinthe
  • Orange or Lemon Peel


1. Chilled your rocks glass well, I keep a couple rocks glasses in the freezer
2. Add large ice cubes to a mixing glass, add Taconic Bourbon Maple Syrup and both bitters
3. Rinse your chilled glass with absinthe then pour it out discarding the excess. (I keep an cheap atomizer filled with absinthe and spritz the chilled glass 2-3 times)
4. Add the Legs Diamond Aged Rye to your mixing glass and stir gently around the sides of the mixing glass
5. Strain into the prepared glass
6. Twist a large slice of orange or lemon peel over the surface to extract the oils and then drop in rocks glass.
